RECOVERY & REBUILDING

4 PILLARS AT THE HEART
OF THE INVESTMENT

* HOUSING

Adequate housing is a Human Right enshrined in international Human Rights Law.

The right to adequate housing is relevant to all countries. Basic human needs are at the foundation of every society. When people have to face many difficulties to meet their basic needs, they can't focus on their personal and professional improvement with social and economic consequences for the whole system.

In the world more than 1.8 billion people lack adequate housing.

Affordable housing is a priority that every country must guarantee. Otherwise it's not possible to expect any real development and progress because the system would not be sustainable.

Where there is no sustainability there is no development.

We live in societies that too many times invest in innovation and advanced programs while the majority of their populations can't satisfy their basic needs. When a system is not able to meet people's basic needs, it can only make temporary development in the short term, not real and lasting changes. in this scenario 1 step forward in the short term means 2 steps back in the long term.

* HEALTHCARE

Now more than ever the priority is this: healthcare for all.

Healthcare is a Human Right, it's not a privilege. If a country is not able to guarantee an affordable and qualified health system for all, it can only create temporary solutions and development for the few. When we talk about health we don't talk about politics, healtcare should not be a partisan issue. It's about people, it's about each of us, it's about one of our fundamental right and it requires a bipartisan response.

* EDUCATION

Education is our best tool to make a difference and create real development and lasting progress. The pandemic is our best chance to rebuild the system and develop a new type of societies based on consciosusness, compassion, inclusion.

Education must play an active role and all countries must come together to promote easy access to education in developing countries. Studies show that where there is no access to education, there are higher levels of poverty, corruption, human rights violations, violence. Education is the first step to create real development and sustainable environments.

* JOB

Now is the time to rethink jobs. Here my key factors.

1. DIGITALIZATION is not about technology, it's about mentality first.

2. LESS DELOCALIZATION in order to promote local economic development and more INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS.

3. INVESTING instead of managing.

4. HUMAN RESOURCES are the strategic asset to create long-term value.

5. INTERNATIONALIZATION is no longer a choice, it's the main source of mutual enrichment.
