Multilateralism is indispensable to secure peace and stability. we are facing global challenges and only if united we can create development and progress. We live in a world in which global challenges require unity and cooperation and the world is more and more divided. Multilateralism and international cooperation are affected by the pandemic but at the same time multilateralism is a priority. Global challanges require global actions.
* MULTIDISCIPLINARY AND MULTINATIONAL APPROACH
Now more than ever all government leaders worldwide should adopt a multidisciplinary and multinational approach and a global perspective. One of the most important lessons we can and should learn from the pandemic is this: only a multidisciolnary and international vision can allow a system to overcome a global challenge.
Communication and cooperation are key elements that build a sustainable environment in the long term.
* LONG-TERM VISION AND CULTURE OF PREVENTION
A long-term perspective is crucial in order to make real and lasting changes and not just temporary solutions. In the battle against the virus all countries should take actions at two levels:
1. a short-term action to bring immediate "relief" and reduce the consequences of the pandemic;
. a long-term action to make structural changes and build new and better societes.
